I HAVE BEEN LIVING IN MARYLAND FOR THE PAST 30+ YEARS, AFTER MY HUSBAND ROGER HENKLE DIED IN 1991. HE WAS A PROFESSOR OF ENGLISH AT BROWN UNIVERSITY. I GOT INTO THE FIELD OF CYTOGENETICS, QUITE BY ACCIDENT. BEFORE RETIRING I WORKED IN PROVIDENCE, RI, BOSTON, AND THE DC AREA. I MOVED HERE BECAUSE BOTH MY CHILDREN ARE HERE—JENNIFER HENKLE CURRAN IN BALTIMORE AND TIMOTHY HENKLE IN ARLINGTON, VA. I LIVE IN A SMALL,CONVENIENTLY LOCATED CONDO IN BALTIMORE CITY, BELONG TO THE WOMAN’S CLUB OF ROLAND PARK, AND PLAY A LOT OF BRIDGE. I HAVE FOUR GRANDCHILDREN WHO ARE THE LIGHT OF MY LIFE. I READ ABOUT NEBRASKA ONLINE AT A (LIBERAL) NEWS SOURCE. HOPE TO READ A LOT ABOUT MY FELLOW STUDENTS FROM CLASS OF 1956

Linda and I are both in good general health, thankfully, and we still enjoy living in our own home. I have been completely retired from medicine for over a decade. Linda served 3 terms on the Lincoln City Council and over 20 years on the Public Building Commission, but is now free of any public obligations. We enjoy our family and our friends. We still enjoy telephone and email contact with a few friends from Lincoln High in the 50's. Life is good !
